St Elizabeth man accused of killing 16 year old girl further remanded
Twenty-five-year-old Rushoi Brown who is accused of killing a 16-year-old girl earlier this month is to reappear in the St Elizabeth Parish Court on September 10.
Brown, otherwise called Rushy, was further remanded when he appeared before the court yesterday in relation to the August 14 murder of Vendaline Carol Anderson, who lived in Clarendon.
The court heard that the case file was incomplete and the investigation officer was away in Kingston where the autopsy on Anderson's body was being done.
Brown's attorney was also absent from court as it was reported that he had other matters in another jurisdiction.
It was reported that Brown went in a fit of rage after the teenage girl told him that she was breaking off their relationship.
It was further reported that about 9 o' clock on the night in question Anderson, who was visiting relatives in the community Top Hill, St Elizabeth, was babysitting in a yard when Brown visited the premises.
It is reported that the two met last December and they allegedly developed a relationship.
They reportedly got into a dispute during which Brown allegedly used a knife to stab Anderson several times in the abdomen.
An alarm was made and Anderson rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A report was filed with the Junction Police and Brown was taken into custody and later charged with murder.
