Corporate Hands | 30 needy students get help from FLOW

Students from under-served communities across the island grip bags filled with textbooks and other supplies as they smile for the camera during a back-to-school shopping trip made possible by telecommunications firm Flow in partnership with TVJ. The students were whisked to the Kingston Bookshop and the Maxie Department store locations in Portmore to select their school supplies and other necessities in preparation for the new school year. Following numerous submissions, the students were selected based on financial need.
With a warm smile, Wakeem Flemming, a secondary level student from St Thomas indicates his school bag of choice to his mom, Carol Flemming. Assisting with his choice was Rico Mills, FLOW Portmore retail manager. Flemming was one of 30 children from across the island to receive back-to-school assistance through a special partnership between telecommunications firm Flow, TVJ, Kingston Book Shop and Maxie Department store.
