The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that due to turbid conditions at the Bulstrode facility in Westmoreland production has declined by 50 percent.

As a result, customers served by the facility are experiencing either low pressure or periods without piped water.

The affected areas include Little London, Grange Hill, Bay Road, Burnt Savannah, Albany, New Hope, Broughton and surrounding areas.

The NWC says regular service will be restored as soon as the turbid conditions subside.
