The police are reporting that there was an attempted firebombing of the Stadium Gardens Police Station in St Andrew this morning.

It is reported that a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the police station but it fell in the yard.

A large stone was also thrown into the windshield of a police service car parked at the station.

The incident happened while some residents of Bundi Lane in Swallowfield were protesting against the fatal shooting of a man by the police last night.

The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Csey Lake.

A similar protest was mounted by angry residents last night.
