Two suspects to be questioned over fatal shooting in St Mary
Police detectives attached to the Criminal Investigative Branch in Port Maria, St Mary are to this week question the two men arrested in relation to shooting of three people, two fatally, in Highgate.
The suspects were picked up in the farming community of Frazer Wood in Highgate following Saturday brazen daylight shooting, which has since rocked residents.
The deceased are Rayon Walker, otherwise called 'Evil', and Adrian Black, otherwise called 'Brammer', of Frazer Wood in Highgate and Brown's Town, St Ann.
The police reported that Walker, Black, and a 19-year-old woman were in a house at Frazer Wood about 3:16 p.m. Saturday when a gunman entered the premises and fired several shots, hitting all three.
They were rushed to Port Maria Hospital where Walker and Black were pronounced dead on arrival and the woman was transferred to another hospital in a critical condition.
Several nine millimetre spent shells were reportedly recovered at the house.
The police have indicated that Walker was out on bail on a charge of murder, which was reportedly committed in St Ann last year and that he was also under a 24-hour curfew.
The St Mary Police Division has recorded 25 murders since the start of the year.
