The St Andrew South Police have listed the names of five men they say are wanted for murder and illegal possession of firearm.

Detectives in St Andrew South have also released the names of ten men they have described as persons of interest in ongoing investigations.

Among those listed as wanted are Amar Fairweather and Patrick Russel, who are being sought in connection with the death of Denise Humes last December and Oneil Cunningham, who is being sought in connection with the killing of Mikel Morgan last June.

The others are Shantoney Cardis, who is wanted for murder in connection with the death of several persons last November, and Damion Dennis, who is wanted for illegal possession of firearm and assault at common law.

The police say the men are critical to several ongoing investigations and appealed to members of the public to report their whereabouts to investigators through Crime Stop at 311 or 811 or the police emergency number 119.

Those listed as persons of interest are:

Christoper Raphael, also called ‘Horace’

Odane Powell, also called ‘Bounty’ and ‘Odo’

Michael Caldwell, also called ‘Dutty Cup’ or ‘Tuff Ackee’

Roy Powell, also called ‘Chullups’

Rushane McDonald, also called ‘Randy’

Gavin Owen, also called ‘Ratty’

Nicholas Redwood, also called ‘Nick’

A man known only as ‘Miguel’

Romario Knuckles, also called ‘Bigga’

Kirk Campbell, also called ‘Gunman’

“These men are critical in ongoing investigations,” the police said in a statement.

However, the police say all efforts by detectives to locate them have so far failed.

As a result, they have made a public appeal for the men to make contact with the Hunts Bay Police by 6p.m. on Monday.

The police are also asking members of the public who have information on the men’s whereabouts to contact the Hunts Bay Police at 876-923-7111, police emergency number 119 or the nearest police station.
