A search has been launched for the female principal of a school in Trelawny.

The police say 52-year-old Ilna Greyson, also called Ingrid, of a Bounty Hall address, has been missing since Friday.

She is of brown complexion, stout build, is about 160 centimetres (5 feet 3 inches) tall and is currently sporting a braided hairstyle.

Reports are that Greyson was last seen in her community about 10:00 a.m., and indicated that she was heading to Falmouth. She was wearing a floral dress (pink, purple and black being the dominant colours). All efforts to contact her since have proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Ilna Greyson is being asked to contact the Wakefield police at (876) 610-3283, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
