Reprisal killing in St Thomas

Published:Friday | January 11, 2019 | 9:36 AM

The St Thomas police believe that the murder of a man in Bull Bay in the parish yesterday was a reprisal killing.

Sixty-three-year-old Cumi Daley, a crusher operator at Pazzolan and Gypsum Quarries and a resident of Tank Well on Gypsum Road, was fatally shot about 7 o'clock yesterday morning.

It is reported that Daley was standing along the Gypsum Main Road awaiting company transportation to work when he was shot in the head by an unknown assailant.

He died on the spot.

Daley's murder came on the heels of Wednesday's shooting death of 32-year-old Chinyo Lewis of 10 miles, Bull Bay in St Andrew.

Lewis killed along Gypsum Road.
