Bags with ganja seized in Porus after driver of vehicle flees
The police say several bags of ganja were seized yesterday in Porus, Manchester after the driver of a vehicle fled.
Reports are that about 8:00 p.m., a team from the Williamsfield Police was on operation when the driver of a vehicle was signalled to stop. The driver did not comply and the vehicle was subsequently found abandoned in the area.
Checks were made and seven knitted bags found containing the illicit drug.
The police say the estimated weight and value of the drug have not yet been ascertained.
No one was held in connection with the seizure.
