Rosh Marketing's Roshan Ramchandani opened up his fabulous '22 Freeport' home to a host of friends last Friday night, and his guests didn't need to go far to watch a display of fireworks shooting up into the air from the nearby Seawind Beach Club.
For the Montego Bay businessman, it was the ideal house-warming, after months of promising to host those dear to him at a special event in his new surroundings.
Ramchandani, whose business involves distribution, wholesale and retail in food and beverage, appliances, furniture, electronics and commodity; used the services of one of Montego Bay's best caterers, Mystic India, to satiate the appetites of his guests.
The impressive menu included cream of pumpkin soup in shot glasses, small mouthfuls of mozzarella with avocado, complemented by sun-dried tomato, fresh basil and Scotch bonnet oil.
However, those were mainly teasers, as Ramchandani paired some of the best wines he distributes with coconut-crusted shrimp and pineapple mango chutney, introducing dates stuffed with chËvre, wrapped in prosciutto Di Parma, with balsamic honey drizzle.
Jamming to the sound of DJ Carson, the party people chatted, partied, and savoured the richness of the home filled with love.
The only non-human that could possibly have enjoyed this house-warming party more was the imposing Buddha whose photo stood right in the middle of the staircase leading upstairs the contemporary home.
Rosh Ramchandani was the perfect host and the Seawind Beach Club was an even more generous neighbour with its fireworks.
