The first annual staging of Whisper from DaVinci Entertainment, took place on Christmas Day at the Vineyard Restaurant in Mandeville.

The DJ provided early patrons with reggae hits of the '80s and the '90s, which not only delighted their dancing feet, but seemed to be a beckoning call for patrons on the outside. The music for the night was provided by Dj Posey, Zj Nova, and Selecta Shane, who transitioned from one genre to the next and kept the crowd in a dancing mood.

The patrons seemed to enjoy the mellow vibe that Whisper provided as well as the decor - the season's red that was tastefully displayed throughout the venue. The food catered by Flaming Wok, under the direction of head chef Junior Lowe, consisted of scrumptious appetisers ranging from Appleton glazed chicken, jerked pork, curried goat, and various pastas all of which seemed to be a crowd favourite.

Marlon Suckie, CEO of DaVinci Entertainment, tells Outlook, "The vision for Whisper is to create an annual nightlife event where patrons can escape into an atmosphere of music, comfort, and delectable dishes that will create an unforgettable experience in central Jamaica. We would like to thank all our sponsors who came on board with us early on, Campbell's Wholesale, Red Bull, and Pure Country Juices."

Though the turnout was not as anticipated, the patrons who turned out seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves, and DaVinci Entertainment is hoping that next year's staging will be even better as whispers for 'Whisper 2015' will be floating throughout the coming year.
