Back necklaces are a huge trend, and an easy way to glam up that plain or simple dress, or otherwise mundane outfit.

This trend gives you the best of both worlds, and Kayla Ashli Collections guarantees to make your back sparkle.

Conceptualised by Kayla Ashli in 2005, owner Esther Smith-Jones told Outlook that her passion for fashion and her entrepreneurial vision was what gave birth to the company she named after her daughter.

"She is the most amazing daughter a parent could have asked for. She is a gift from God," said the proud mother.

Jones noted that her statement pieces are versatile, catering to different personalities. "Our latest back necklace collection has sparked a tremendous buzz. Worn back and front, [they]

create great drama and versatility," she explained.

Kayla Ashli Collections is located inside House of Neahlis, operated by fashion designer and hairstylist Lisa McIntosh-Aris.

"This type of back necklace is worn based on the cut of the neckline of the outfit. Go simply with the outfit and go dramatic, with the accessories, but not overbearing. It can also go with a tailored outfit to an after-work event," Neahlis explained.

She highlighted that simple, solid colours work well with almost any back necklace, "Be spontaneous and creative in everything you do and create that balance," she added.
