In today's fast-paced world, one could use an extra hand or two. But truth be told, most of us can barely afford our monthly living expenses, let alone an assistant. But with the intervention of smartphones, and other technology, I can confidently say whatever help you need, there's an app for that! You are probably familiar with a lot of them and have used up all your smart device memory to download tons. But we have done the groundwork and found a few tried-and-true ones that can help make your life a little easier.

Smart Remote by Peel

How many times have you misplaced or was too lazy to go get your remote? Countless. Well Smart Remote will take care of that. The cool features of this app includes, titles for easy access such as top picks, TV shows, movies, sports, as well as the option to create your favourite listing. Searching for the remote is now a problem of the past!

Flipboard

The magazine-format mobile app localised in more than 20 languages collects content from social media and other websites, and presents them in a magazine format.
