Kai's continued Elle-gance

Saint Inter-national's Kai Newman keeps getting hotter. The supermodel's already-impressive rÈsumÈ is boosted by a global advertising campaign for America's iconic heritage brand - Ralph Lauren.

Skipping through the latest issue of American Vogue revealed she has also added the prestigious Land's End line to her growing list of elite clients. Both the Ralph Lauren and Land's End were shot by powerhouse fashion lensman Bruce Webber.

Impressive, too, is her present appearance on the cover of the Spring 2016 catalogue of New York's legendary luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman. The catalogue, shot by Sanchez and Mangiello, was done against the exotic backdrop of Lima, Peru. Kai's cover profile is not new as she landed the cover of the highly regarded Hunger Magazine, owned by London's legendary photographer Rankin.

The island beauty is once again the buzz of the fashion world with her starring in a 10-page spread in the April issue of American Elle Magazine. What makes this particularly amazing is that it was only in February that Kai was also featured in a 12-page spread of the said magazine.

This blazing story is titled 'Neutral Zone', photographed by the celebrated fashion photographer Liz Collins. She was styled by Simon Robbins in global fashion's best, including Jil Sander, Versace, Boss, Celine and Chanel. The creative team was rounded out with David von Cannon for hair and make-up by Fulvia Farolfi.

A fashion star

According to Saint CEO Deiwght Peters, "Kai's star in fashion will be shining for a very long time. The Ralph Lauren global campaign now cements her status. Her natural beauty and versatility (she is a chameleon) is an allure for the most discerning fashion client, hence the diverse top-end clients she attracts." This is vividly displayed in a comparative context as you glean her fluid visual imagery in every job - whether it's the strong glamazon on the cover of the Bergdorf catalogue or the fierce hot-trotting diva on the Gucci Fall 2016 runway, or the Afro-wearing 'blaxploitation' heroine (think Cleopatra Jones) in February's Elle editorial.

Kai has been ranked on's 'Hot List' among the top models in the world for several months now. Kai was the winner of the Saint-produced Fashion Face of the Caribbean 2013.

In her first season, she was listed among the Top New Face in the fashion world by and numerous fashion insiders. Her enviable client list includes the who's who of fashion. Kai has appeared for Maybelline, Balmain, Gucci, MiuMiu, Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and many more.

She created history with fellow Saint International star Tami Williams as the first Caribbean model duo to appear at the same time in the world's most respected fashion bible - American Vogue in March 2014.
