The Canadian Women's Club (CWC) of Jamaica held their annual Spring into Fashion show and they certainly did not disappoint, with even the new high commissioner, Laurie Peters, herself gracing the runways.

Designers on display included Ayana Dixon, Heather Laine, The Mushroom, Neahlis and Canadian Frank Lyman, whose designs that are available at Signature, just to name a few. The pieces by the designers were not only beautiful but functional, great statement pieces as well as classy, laid-back closet essentials.

Some of the designs were well complemented by Purple Jade Jewellery and Cinderella hats, fascinators fit for royalty.

Guests watched as past beauty contestants Diedre McKenzie, Brianne St Juste and Sasha Henry rocked the runway alongside graceful women of the CWC and High Commissioner Peters. Miss Jamaica World 1963 Joan McDonald hosted the event, describing each ensemble with precision and flair.

When it came to closing the show, Courtney Washington stole our hearts with his clean chic evening wear designs for cocktails or a banquet. His designs catered to every woman, the young, the fun and the elegant. The cuts complemented the curves of the woman, irrespective of shape and size. From shimmer to bold red, Washington's designs were a hit.
