Something extra

Published:Tuesday | August 19, 2014 | 12:00 AM
CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION - In last week's SOMETHING EXTRA, Ian Levy, pictured here with Scotiabank President Jacqueline Sharp, was inadvertently given the title of 'Sir'. The two were photographed at a special dinner held by the president for special clients. Levy was the recipient of the prestigious 'Chevalier de L'Ordre National du Merite' from the president of France in 2006, and although the English translation of the word 'Chevalier' is indeed 'Knight', the decoration does not confer on the recipient the title of 'Sir' in the French honour system. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
