On Saturday, September 13, 1834, the first issue of The Jamaica Gleaner was published. On Saturday, September 13, 2014 - 180 years later - thousands came out to celebrate the anniversary of the oldest newspaper in the Caribbean at The Gleaner 180 5K Run/Walk.
