Tuesday Talk

Published:Tuesday | May 26, 2015 | 5:00 AM

1 One parishioner says she would have given her best teeth to be a fly on the wall to hear that proposal. Others are whispering about prenuptial arrangements, yet others are talking about green card facilitation in preference to a Trinidadian hide-out. All in all, this is the most talked-about event in Jamaica this year.

2 Could it be true that the lines between Washington and Kingston have been truly opened? Well, not officially, but it seems some pretty interesting conversations are taking place between them. Listen for more.

3 The wife borrowed her husband's car, and while driving, she heard a cell phone ringing. It was not hers. When she checked, it was tucked beneath the mat. And when she answered it - silence. When she looked at the photos, she was sickened. Another case of what is done in the dark will one day see light.

4 Ok, so one old lady was forced out while screaming loudly in protest, others are asking why the rest of geriatrics can't step aside and make way for younger folks - it's not only politics that have people clinging for dear life long after their best days have gone.
