Come Friday June 26, Eleanor McKnight will be heading to Los Angeles (LA) to the 15th annual BET Awards being held at the Microsoft Theatre. McKnight's attendance is courtesy of Jamaica's leading cable provider, Flow, who has partnered with BET Network to award an all-expense-paid trip for two to the 2015 BET Awards.

McKnight has won the ultimate BET experience which entails attending the 2015 BET Awards as well as other select BET experiences at LA LIVE weekend concerts, events, and after parties.

Brimming with mixed emotions, McKnight said this announcement is nothing short of unbelievable. McKnight who works at the local office of the Caribbean Examination Council, openly admitted to not answering private numbers. She tells Today that she made an exception that day to answer because it's the CXC season and her teachers often contact her even on her private number. "At this time of the year I pretty much answer all my calls, because my teachers have that number so they will sometimes call me on it. So, I decided to answer and that's when Kristi told me that I was chosen as the lucky winner to go to the BET Awards. I actually had to come to the Flow offices to definitely find out that it was true because I thought my friends were playing a trick on me."

She continued, "It came as a complete shock because I didn't know of the promotion much less being entered into it, but one of the Flow representatives explained it to me and told me that I had a perfect bill-payment record and as a result of that I was chosen," she stated.

trusted partner

According to Flow's Marketing Manager Yanique Forbes Patrick, "This is the first engagement of this kind with BET, and we intend to deepen our relationship with them. They are very popular in our line-up and have been a trusted partner for years. The idea was to give customers the ability to have the live experience of the content that they love to watch on TV," she ended.

Still relishing in the surprise announcement, McKnight revealed that there is not just one thing that she's looking forward to in LA. According to her, "I have never been to LA before, and I'm really excited about it because I really just want to take it all in. I don't want to miss anything. I want to experience all that the BET Experience has to offer and thanks to Flow I will be able to do just that."
