The United Way of Jamaica's (UWJ's) Mother's Day movie premiere was the perfect way to celebrate mothers before the official day.

Last Thursday, Palace Cineplex was full of love as children, fathers and husbands brought out the moms in their lives to see a good movie.

The event was part of UWJ's efforts to support and raise funds for the Early Childhood Development Initiative.

Chairman of UWJ Ian Forbes thanked the audience for their support just before it was time for all to sit back, relax and enjoy the movie.

The film Mother's Day focuses on the love and hardship of motherhood and places emphasis on the importance of mothers in the lives of both children and fathers. The film features a number of stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis and Britt Robertson.

CEO of UWJ Winsome Wilkins expressed her appreciation for the support and her admiration of the movie.
