The beautiful Miss Universe Jamaica 2015, Sharlene Radlein, will join the line up of models for Caribbean Fashionweek 2016.

No stranger to the runway, Sharlene has appeared on the Emmy award winning Fashion TV series — Project Runway.

The reigning MUJ was born in the parish of St Andrew, and wanted to be a model from an early age. While pursuing her dream, she was involved in a devastating car accident at the age of 17, and left with multiple scars which she thought would shelve her hopes and dreams.

More determined than ever, she set out for Miami and then New York, more determined than ever. She was soon signed to Major Models and her dream started to become a reality. Working as a model she believes, prepared her for her success in the Miss Universe Jamaica competition.

The dynamic Radlein is not only a model, but has her eyes set on acting and singing. “It is important to be artistically versatile, and I want to explore my range and constantly improve my talents” said a radiantly positive Radelein.

After nearly losing her life, Radelein is philosophical and appreciates every day that she is given, even in difficult times. I use every opportunity I get to inspire and spread positive vibes in everything I do. I want to explore and enjoy life in its entirety."

Radlein is now an Ambassador for Road Safety Jamaica, using her story of perseverance and beauty to inspire others.
