1. So there's to be new legislation governing town houses. It cannot come too soon because there are some politicians who are delinquent in honouring their obligations to pay maintenance fees, leaving others to take up the slack.

2. A wonderful series of tales is emerging from some neighbourhoods with pension-laden returning residents. In one case, a policeman has reportedly taken control of one who could be his mother. Dementia is setting in and there are many ready to take advantage.

3. The campaign-financing episode has seemingly died a natural death. The usual thing in Jamaica - a great deal of hot air and, after nine days, it's blowing in the wind.
