Up to 1,000 children in St Elizabeth and Kingston were smiling from ear to ear as they were the beneficiaries of two days of 'Fun-Spiration' at the JWN Foundation’s 2016 Christmas Treat.

The joy of this much appreciated exercise was overwhelmingly evident, on the faces of children from communities enveloping the company's vast and picturesque location — Appleton Estate in St Elizabeth. At the company’s Kingston Headquarters on Spanish Town Road, the children enjoyed rides, rock climbing and among other fun-filled activities, in addition to receiving a vast array of gifts in the Christmas Wonderland themed event.

The Kingston headquarters was transformed with inspirational messages branded at each station and in the form of life sized photo frames.  What was particularly fun for the children were; “Your Spirit” Creation Corner where they were placed in groups and participated in affirmation exercises led by the day’s Compère, Emprezz Golding.

Each student also got the opportunity to take photos in a pop up photo booth with a photo frame emblazoned with the empowering phrases “I am great” and “Dream Big.”

JWN also used the opportunity to present two million dollars to Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Floyd Green towards the National School Feeding Programme.
