Montego Bay's new Mayor, Councillor Homer Davis and his wife Dr Carleene Grant-Davis were on hand to greet Santa Claus and his team and the more than 2,000 children who were fêted at the Hah-R-Mony in the Park Concert put on by Hah-R-Mony Entertainment in collaboration with the St James Municipal Council on Christmas Day.
Francisco 'Cucho' Castillo got to be Santa for a day and these three children seem thrilled to hang out with him.
In other places around the world Santa Claus comes down the chimney and travels in a slay. In Jamaica, he arrives by boat with more than 2,000 gifts which had to be transported by road to the Old Hospital Park where Hah-R-Mony Entertainment fêted children for Christmas Day.
This young man got a gift from Santa and looks very pleased about it.

Here in Jamaica, we do not have snow, and our homes aren't equipped with chimneys - but that did not stop Santa Claus from stopping by. Santa Claus came to Montego Bay courtesy of Hah-R-Mony Entertainment, and for the children of the city, it was a merry Christmas indeed. Here are the highlights.
