All set for Avant Garde design of the year competition
It's all systems go for this year's staging of Saint International's double-billed glam-fest- the Jamaica Avant Garde Designer of the Year and the Fashion Face of the Caribbean.
On Friday March 24, the weekend kick off at 8p.m. with a VIP, invitation-only reception at the 'South Beach styled' cabana poolside at Spanish Court Hotel.
On Saturday March 21, the Courtleigh Auditorium will be transformed into a glamorous red and magneta 'glamour zone' in homage to presenting sponsors Campari and LASCO Money.
Designers in the Avant Garde contest are working on the inspirational colors Magenta representing the sponsors.
"LASCO Money offers competitive rates and tailors its loans to micro and small businesses, much like the designers which will be featured on the Saint International Avant Garde runway on Saturday. This is perfect synergy for us. Our own Las Chin began as a small entrepreneur with a passion for success and drive for excellence. Year after year, Saint International has been able to attract a good cadre of talent and LASCO Financial is pleased to be associated with these very creative and professional designers," stated Jacinth Hall-Tracey, CEO of LASCO Financial Services Limited which was recently re-launched as LASCO Money.
Long time partner Campari is back on board to stir things up with their essence of glamour. 'Campari has been a long-time sponsor for this Jamaica's most prestigious designer contest, as it celebrates the stylish essence of our brand. The event is executed at a premium level consistent with our brand image. We will offer exotic and exciting cocktails and we look forward to this partnership with Saint International every year' outlines Pietro Gramegna, Brand Manager for Spirits at Campari/Wray And Nephew.
The winning designer for the Avant Garde Designer of the Year gets $100,000 cash prize courtesy of the sponsors and The Deiwght Peters Show.
