Tuesday Talk

1. The wrath of motorists travelling on the North-South Highway has come down on the persons who operate the toll booths. Motorists who are not pleased with the 'Nicodemus' move, which sees some paying more for their journey due to a shortage of coins, have been hurling abuses at the workers.

2. People are saying that being a country representative requires more than a pretty smile. For example, the negative effects of the remittance tax is something that should have been front and centre of recent discussions in D.C.

3. The parents are in consternation because the daughter has imported a bum. He does not work, they complain. More than that, he has a distant relationship with the shower, and it is creating some ugly quarrels in that uptown compound.
