Tuesday Talk

1. Some people are asking why is it that when lawyers steal from their clients, they are struck off the roll, but rarely tried and sent to prison? For a professional body to find wrongdoing that warrants protecting the public from an individual, how come that is not translated into criminal charges? We say these are legitimate questions for the powers that be to answer.

2. Speaking of lawyers, the rumour mill has been churning with salacious stories about the partners who fell out when the old flame returned from over yonder. It is the story of when jealousy boils over. More updates soon.

3. Who qualifies as the greatest freeloaders of all time? If you said politicians, you would be on the right track. They demand the best seats in the house, the best accommodation for free, the best transportation in the air and on the ground, and if they have a funeral or wedding in the family, it is all bought and paid for by someone else.
