Tuesday Talk

1 Right now the focus is on Waterloo, but it's like stirring up a hornet's nest, for there is a lot happening in Negril, too - more than $100 million worth of damage we learn. The intervention from on high is not enough to save the day. All shall be revealed soon.

2 That illegal U-turn on Half-Way Tree Road in the vicinity of the NSWMA's office is so frequently used these days that it now seems 'normal'. We are wagering that nothing will be done until there is a tragic accident there.

3 Do the rules about attendance in Parliament still stand? Our sources say that some members have missed so many sessions that it is unfair for them to get paid. Certainly, if they were in the private sector, they would have been asked to resign.
