Cafe Blue launches 'Coffee Date' series
Coffee is a conversation starter and who doesn't love connecting over a delicious cup of 100 per cent Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee?
That's exactly the space that Cafe Blue is creating with their newest event series, 'Coffee Date'. Once every two months, the family-owned, Jamaican business will host a Coffee Date, featuring guest speakers and activities aimed at bringing people with common passions together.
The first Coffee Date, under the theme 'Being Fearless in Pursuit of Passion', was led by special guest speakers Ayanna Dixon of ASD, Kia Williams of Those Creative People, and Arrianne Williams of VisionArri Creations, who shared their own experiences as Jamaican and female entrepreneurs. They were joined by six young creatives, who have charted their own paths in the arts, for a morning of encouragement, inspiration and exchange of ideas.
Justine Pyne, general manager, Cafe Blue, shared the reason behind the Coffee Date series.
"We hope the series Coffee Date, will be successful and impactful by bringing dynamic groups of Jamaicans together, with the common factor being dialogue over coffee. We want persons to meet, discover and share experiences with mentors and colleagues based on similar interests and current affairs. There is always something happening in Jamaica and, as a local brand, we aim to offer an experiential activity which will offer an opportunity to inspire personal and professional change for a more positive future," said Pyne.
Each Coffee Date will further enhance the Cafe Blue experience by allowing for engagement with innovative and creative Jamaican personalities, brands and initiatives - with our Jamaican coffee at the heart of it all.
