Easy 69-run win for Jamaica Under-19s

Jamaica scored an easy 69-run win over Trinidad and Tobago in the Regional Under-19 limited-overs tournament at the Demerara Cricket Club in Guyana yesterday.

Led by Leroy Lugg with a fine 68, Jamaica made 211 off 47.5 overs. Trinidad were then bundled out for 142 in 46.1 overs.

SCORES: Jamaica Under-19s, 211 off 47.5 overs (Leroy Lugg, 68; Odean Smith, 44; Nicholas Walters, 24; Tavin Jadoo, 4-32; Anderson Phillip, 2-30).

Trinidad and Tobago Under-19s, 142 off 46.1 overs (Amir Jangoo, 32; Camillo Carimbocas, 32; Odean Smith, 3-29; Ramaal Lewis, 2-8).

AT EVEREST: Barbados Under-19s beat Leeward Islands Under-19s by eight wickets.

Leewards Under-19, 151 for nine off 50 overs (Jaeel Clarke, 31 not out; Jeremiah Louis, 26; Shaquille Martina, 21; Neil Persaud, 3-11; Chad Williams, 2-24).

Barbados Under-19s, 152 for two off 43.3 overs (Nicholas Kirton, 63; Leniko Boucher, 58 not out).

At WALES COMMUNITY CENTRE: Windward Islands Under-19s beat ICC Americas Under-19s by four wickets.

ICC Americas Under-19s, 130 off 36.4 overs (Aniket Joshi, 20; Ryan John, 3-24; Gidron Pope, 3-25). Windwards Under-19s, 132 for six off 24.2 overs (Gidron Pope, 55; Kershaskie Jno Lewis, 30 not out; Nikhil Dutta, 2-33; Delray Rawlings, 2-41).
