Samuels returns for India series
Middle-order batsman, Marlon Samuels, has been included in the West Indies one-day squad for their upcoming tour of India.
The stylish right-hander, who was dropped from the regional team in June after a poor run of form, returns to the 15-man squad, which will be without flambouyant opener, Chris Gayle.
Gayle, according to a West Indies Cricket Board release, is "rehabilitating from an injury".
The squad, which will again be led by all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, also sees a return for left-handed Guyanese batsman, Leon Johnson, who made his Test debut two weeks ago.
The 27-year-old Johnson who made 66 and 41 in the second and final Test against Bangladesh has in the past represented the West Indies in three one-dayers, the last of which came against Canada six years ago.
The squad, in the meantime, contains the all the players who participated in the recent home one-day series against Bangladesh, which the West Indies won three-nil.
The West Indies, while on tour of India, are scheduled to play five one-dayers, a one-off Twenty20 international and three Tests.
