FOOTBALL: Quarter-final fixture in daCosta Cup to be completed today

The quarter-final line-up of the rural-area ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup football competition will be completed today following the final set of matches in the inter-zone round.



Seven schools have already qualified for the quarterfinal round.



They are defending champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS); Manchester High, Clarendon College, Cedric Titus, Old Harbour, St James and last year’s beaten finalist Garvey Maceo.



Sixteen matches are scheduled for today.



And among the teams on course to qualify for the quarterfinal today are Cornwall College Zone One; Green Pond from Zone Two; Lacovia High from Zone Four; Dinthill and Marcus Garvey from Zone Six and Kemps Hill from Zone Eight.



In addition to quarter-final spots, teams will also looking to qualify for the inaugural LIME Super Cup.



The Super Cup features the eight group winners of the inter-zone of the daCosta Cup and the seven first round Group winners and the top second place team in the Manning Cup.
