Take Mr. Ambassador
For the second consecutive race day, only eight races will be run at Caymanas Park tomorrow. This means there will be no Pick-9 wagering, but both Super-6s are in place.
The first Super-6 will be conducted from race one to six, the late Super-6 from race three to eight.
We look at the first Super-6 which commences with the Alty McKenzie Memorial Cup claiming $350,000-$310,000 over a mile to be contested by seven starters, including top contenders JADA'SFABULOUSTOUR to be ridden by in-form Robert Halledeen and COLD GROUND, the mount of champion jockey Dane Nelson.
There is good recent form present in hat-trick seeker ABOVE THE RADAR and STEPPING RAZOR, who was second to PRINCE O'SHAUN over 1500 metres last Saturday.
in good nick
With the race lacking genuine pace horses, JADA'S FABULOUSTOUR should use her speed to best advantage and make all the running from the convenient mark of 52.0kg. Trainer Leroy Tomlinson has her in good nick and with Halledeen riding in good form, should stave off the Ryan Darby-trained COLD GROUND, who went close over this trip on September 6 when beaten by MARINE DRIVE on a $425,000 claiming tag.
The second race for maiden two-year-olds over 1200 metres should provide the debutant MR AMBASSADOR with an easy win if his glowing exercise reports are anything to go by. Trained by Patrick Chang, the bay colt by Ways and Means out of One Big Giggle, has looked well forward at exercise, beating his accomplished stable-companion WILLIE GOLDSMITH, the 2013 2000 Guineas winner, at exercise last week. He looks a smart cookie and should be used as a banker in the eight strong field.
YES SHE WILL, under top apprentice O'Brien White, and the recent winner HE'STHEREAL LINKS with former champion Omar Walker again in the saddle, should fight out the finish of the $180,000claiming race over 1820metrs, in which nine will run.
The grey YES SHE WILL carries a mere 50.0kg after chasing home the out of class ABOVE THE RADAR over two turns recently and should hold the closers HE'STHEREAL LINKS and NATURALLYFANTASY at bay in deep stretch.
The lightly raced ZACKONTHEATTACK, who went under to LUCAS THE LION in a three-way photo recently, should have little difficulty in winning the fourth race over 1100 metres for maiden three-year-olds. Aaron Chatrie has the ride. His seven opponents are somewhat moderate in ability and he should lead home FREE AS A BIRD (Nelson up) and DANISH BROWN with Shane Ellis aboard.
The last two races should be won by REIGN OVER ALL (Nelson up) and the sparingly raced OPULENT (working well) from the Anthony Nunes' stable. Their respective dangers are JAVINE in the fifth and TIZ A CAT in the sixth.
