HORSE RACING: United Racehorse Trainers' Association Trophy up for grabs today

Published:Saturday | November 15, 2014 | 9:41 AM

The United Racehorse Trainers’ Association Trophy over 1,820 metres will take the spotlight when horseracing resumes at Caymanas Park today.

The race has attracted seven starters, including five, which contested the Royal Dad Trophy race over the distance on October 25.

That race turned out to be an eventful event, as first-past-the-posts, SPARKLING MICHAELA was disqualified by the stewards and the race awarded to LOCK AND LOADED, with whom she had interfered in the last furlong.

Both renew rivalry with the Lance Richards trained SPARKLING MICHAELA having the scales in her favour.

There are nine other races on the card and post time is 12:05 p.m.
