Ramiesh McKnight left Ascot High for Camperdown High after the Portmore-based school did not enter this year's Manning Cup.

He has fitted into the Camperdown system well. Playing as his new school's leading forward, McKnight is Camperdown's top scorer with 13 goals in all competitions.

The upper sixth-form student is a powerfully built player who will be the target man for Camperdown in their big clash against Jamaica College today.

Smooth transfer

"He came over from Ascot and has interacted well with the team," Camperdown's coach Christopher Bender told The Gleaner.

"Ramiesh doesn't like to talk, but he is willing to listen and follow instructions. He has made the transition from his past school and improved since his arrival at Camperdown. He always wants to play and is a fighter, a team person."

The 18-year-old is one to watch today.
