UNITED (4-1-4-1)

Usually, this is a fixture between two teams fighting for the Barclays Premier League title. This time around it is between sides bidding for a top-four finish.

Arsenal and Manchester United sit in sixth and seventh places respectively. With the Gunners just one point better off than the opposition.

Arsenal, though, are unbeaten at home in the Premier League since August 2013. In the 15 months since the Gunners have played 23 games at the Emirates, winning 15 games and drawing eight.

United, meanwhile, have won just once in their last four league games – the 1-0 home victory over Crystal Palace a fortnight ago – and have yet to win away from home this season. In five games away from Old Trafford the Reds have drawn three and lost two.

It is United’s worst ever start to a Premier League season away from home and the first time they have started with five away games without a win since the 1986-87 season – when Sir Alex Ferguson arrived half way through the run. United failed to win in the first 10 away games that term.
