SWANSEA (4-2-3-1)

Manchester City are third with 21 points; after 11 games last season they had 19 points and went on to win the Barclays Premier League.

They have won just once in their last six games in all competitions, the 1-0 derby victory over Manchester United. In the League Manuel Pellegrini’s men have one win in three, and in their last game they were held to a 2-2 draw at struggling Queens Park Rangers.

Swansea City should be confident going into the game; they beat Arsenal last time out and are unbeaten in their last three league games, taking seven points from a possible nine, scoring six goals and conceding just one.

The 2-1 win over the Gunners took the Welshmen into fifth place, just three points behind City.

In six previous Premier League meetings, City have won four and drawn one. Their only win came in March 2012 at home. But they have not won at City in three visits while failing to score and conceding eight goals.
