KINGSTON, Jamaica:

St George’s College beat Jamaica College 3-2 in wet condition to win the 2014 ISSA/LIME Walker Cup knockout final at the Constant Spring field a short while ago.

The defeat ruined JC's dream of winning four football titles this year.

JC came into the game as big favourites to lift their third title of the season having won the $1 million dollar Super Cup and the prestigious Manning Cup.

However, the Old Hope Road-based school fell 3-0 behind after the first-half and in the end St George's held on for their eighth Walker Cup title.

Shevon Stewart handed St George's College the lead in the 10th minute and Gregory Messam and Amoy Brown added the other goals in pouring rain.

Messam's goal came in the 26th minute, while Brown scored four minutes from the break to put the JC's supporters in shock.

Junior Flemmings got both goals for JC.

His goals came in the 47th and 89th minutes.
