New Creation demolish West Side in INSPORTS Community football

NEW Creation defeated West Side United 3-0 in the 2014/2015 Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) All-Island Community League Football Championship for the parishes of Kingston and St Andrew at Greenwich All-Age School.

Scoring for New Creation were Ricardo Daley (10th minute), Tracey Hutchinson 68th and Romario Williams (83rd).

In another match at the venue, Cookhorne Lane beat Mandela Youth 3-0 through goals from Donovan Wilson (32nd), Anthony Stewart (78th) and Malik Douglas (83rd).

Meanwhile, Richard Taylor's first half hat-trick (5th, 15th, 29th) spurred Pembroke Hall to a convincing 5-0 win over Road Runner. The other goals were scored by Dwayne Brown and Collington Anderson in the 26th and 76th minutes, respectively.

Goals in the 28th and 48th minutes from Kevin York and Kristopher Saunders, respectively, gave Future Youth a close 2-1 win over Ayrshire United. Jason Walker netted for the losers in the 65th minute.

Little Africa earned an exciting 2-2 draw with Crooks Street. Scorers for Little Africa were Richard Williams (25th) and Noel Thorpe (68th), while Jermaine Thompson (12th) and Sheldon Foster (75th) scored for the Crooks Street. The teams were locked 1-1 at half-time.

Parade Gardens and St. Alban's played to a 1-1 draw. Damarie Gibson gave St. Alban's a first half lead at the 26th minute, while Junior Joseph of Parade Gardens earned the equaliser at the 50th.

Vaughn Higgs' 75th minute goal earned Sligo View a 1-1 draw with Black Street, for whom Kevin Green scored in the sixth minute.

In another encounter, Drama FC and Conscious United played to a 0-0 draw at Tinson Pen Sports Complex.

The Kingston and St Andrew leg of the competition continues tomorrow.
