Jamaica’s rising golfing star Wesley Brown continued his recent vintage form, capturing the Do Dare Charity Professional category event at Cinnamon Hill course in Montego Bay yesterday, to record his second consecutive victory on local soil.

Brown, who was in great form on the USA Carolina Series Pro Tour recently, picked up where he left off by shooting seven-under par at the two-day event, with scores of 69 and 68 to win by nine strokes.

The Jamaican ace had last week won the Alliance Buccaneer Memorial Event at Caymanas Golf Club, carding 74 and 73 to finish on three over par.

With his golfing season now closed for the year, Brown says he will be back in action in Jamaica in January, but will open his overseas tour in February.
