HULL CITY VS WEST BROM

On Wednesday, Hull City secured their first point in four Barclays Premier League games, thanks to a Sone Aluko equaliser at Everton. A day earlier, West Brom lost 2-1 at home to West Ham, the Baggies' fourth straight defeat in the Barclays Premier League, their worst run for a year.

LIVERPOOL VS SUNDERLAND

After three straight losses in the Barclays Premier League, Liverpool have won their last two, at home to Stoke City and at Leicester City, on Tuesday. A day later, Sunderland lost 4-1 against Manchester City, despite taking the lead. The Reds are unbeaten in their last four against Sunderland, winning the last three.

TOTTENHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE

On Wednesday, Tottenham lost 3-0 against London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, leaving Spurs in 10th place in the Barclays Premier League. Palace, meanwhile, lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa a day earlier. Spurs beat Palace home and away last season and the Eagles last won at White Hart Lane in November 1997.

WEST HAM VS SWANSEA CITY

After beating Newcastle 1-0 at home on Saturday, West Ham won 2-1 at West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday. They face a Swansea side with four points from their last two games include two late goals in a 2-0 win over QPR on Tuesday. But the Welshmen have failed to score in their last three games against the Hammers.

ASTON VILLA VS LEICESTER

Aston Villa finally returned to winning ways on Tuesday when, after nine games without wins - six straight defeats followed by three successive draws - they beat Crystal Palace thanks to a goal from Christian Benteke. It should give them confidence against a Leicester side without a victory in nine games, after losing 3-1 at home to Liverpool on Tuesday.
