Jamaica College (JC) finished the 2014 senior schoolboy football season with three titles after beating Clarendon College 1-0 to win the all-island Olivier Shield final at the Juici field in Clarendon a short while ago.

With the victory, JC retained the title the school won last year and in the process secured its 19th hold on the shield.

Akeam Shackleford scored the lone goal in the first-half, which JC dominated with a number of good chances.

The goal came in the 16th minute and was set up by Raffique Bryan, who weaved his way through a few defenders before he presented Shackleford with a gift just outside the six-yard box.

JC added the Olivier Shield to the Manning Cup and the inaugural $1-million all-island Super Cup Knockout title.

The Old Hope Road-based school contested all four schoolboy finals this season, but lost the Walker Cup final 3-2 against St George's College on November 27.

The Olivier Shield brings together the Manning Cup champions and the daCosta Cup winners.

And for the first time, the Olivier Shield was played as a one-leg final instead of a two-leg final.
