BURNLEY VS SOUTHAMPTON

Burnley face a Saints side reeling from three straight defeats - to Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United. The Clarets' 2-0 defeat at QPR on Saturday was their first loss in five but leaves them one place and two points off the bottom of the Barclays Premier League. These teams last met last season, in the FA Cup, and Southampton won 4-3 at St Mary's.

ARSENAL VS NEWCASTLE U

Arsenal enjoyed a 4-1 win in Turkey on Tuesday against Galatasaray; that made amends for the 3-2 defeat at Stoke City on Saturday, a defeat that leaves the Gunners in sixth place. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last seven visits to St James' Park, winning three and drawing four. They last lost there in December 2005. Newcastle miss the banned Steven Taylor and Moussa Sissoko.

CRYSTAL PALACE VS STOKE CITY

Crystal Palace have won just once in their last nine Barclays Premier League games and have failed to score in their last two. Stoke ended a three-match losing steak with a 3-2 win over Arsenal last Saturday. Last season Palace won this game 1-0 thanks to Jason Puncheon's early second-half goal.

WEST BROM VS ASTON VILLA

West Bromwich Albion have gone five Barclays Premier League games without a win, losing four, their worst run since February. Villa, who miss Ashley Westwood after the midfielder damaged knee ligaments in the win over Leicester last Sunday, are unbeaten in five, winning their last two. Last season's two games between these teams produced 11 goals; Villa won 4-3 at home after drawing 2-2 at The Hawthorns.
