BURNLEY VS

LIVERPOOL

Burnley remain in the relegation zone after losing 2-1 at Tottenham and in two previous Barclays Premier League games against Liverpool. They were beaten 4-0 both at Anfield and Turf Moor in the 2009-10 campaign. And the Clarets last beat the Reds in September 1974. Liverpool miss the suspended Fabio Borini, while Daniel Sturridge is still injured.

CRYSTAL PALACE VS SOUTHAMPTON

Crystal Palace are at home on Boxing Day for the first time since 2008, though last season they won 1-0 at Aston Villa on this day. Southamp-ton, unbeaten in their last five Boxing Day fixtures, have won their last five league games against Palace home and away. But defender JosÈ Fonte is banned.

EVERTON VS

STOKE CITY

Everton have won just one in their last six league and cup games, losing four and drawing the other. Similarly, Stoke have won one of six, but in six previous Barclays Premier League visits to Goodison Park, the Potters have lost four and drawn one. They last won there in December 2011.

LEICESTER CITY VS TOTTENHAM

Leicester City have gone 12 Barclays Premier League games without a win, losing nine - including the last five. The Foxes, bottom of the table, are still without goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and defender Matthew Upson. Spurs, meanwhile, have won their last four league and cup games and test midfielder Ryan Mason.

SUNDERLAND

VS HULL CITY

Sunderland enjoyed their first win in seven games when they beat rivals Newcastle last Sunday, but they have drawn 10 of their 17 games in the Barclays Premier League. Sunderland have won nine and drawn one of their last 12 home league games against Hull. Sunderland miss the banned Connor Wickham, while Hull are without suspended duo Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore.

SWANSEA CITY

VS ASTON VILLA

Swansea City, who last won a Boxing Day game in 2007, test Leon Britton and Gylfi Sigurdsson. They are unbeaten in their last five home league games against Aston Villa, who last won there 43 years ago almost to the day, in the old Third Division. Villa miss the suspended striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.
