Second-place Manchester City entertain Arsenal, who are fifth but 11 points behind the opposition. City are unbeaten in their last 14 games in all competitions, winning 11 and drawing three. They are also unbeaten in their last seven games at the Etihad Stadium, where they have lost only twice this season.
Arsenal have lost just one of their last eight games in league and cup, while winning four of their last five. They have also gone 214 minutes since
conceding a goal, in the 2-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year's Day.
The teams have already met twice this season and the Gunners are unbeaten. In August, they clashed in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium where FA Cup winners Arsenal beat Barclays Premier League champions City 3-0, with goals from Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud.
In September, at the Emirates Stadium, City came from behind to steal a 2-2 draw. Sergio Aguero opened the scoring and, after Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez netted for the Gunners, Martin Demichelis levelled.
Aguero has scored 19 goals in 22 games and finally returned after five weeks out with a knee injury as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw at Everton last Saturday and the striker could be in the running to start for the first time since early December.
If he does feature, his head-to-head is with Arsenal's in-form frontman Alexis Sanchez, who took his goal tally to 18 (from 30 games) with two against Stoke in last Sunday's 3-0 win over Stoke.
