Jamaica Franchise captain, Nikita Miller, is anticipating a tough encounter against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force when both teams meet in Group B of the WICB NAGICO Insurance Super50 at Queen's Park Oval today.

The second-round fixture, which is slated to start at 12:30 p.m. Jamaica time, will see both teams looking to build on their impressive starts to the tournament thus far.

Jamaica, led by three-wicket hauls from leg-spinner Damion Jacobs and David Bernard Jr, and an unbeaten 52 from Nkrumah Bonner, defeated Leeward Islands Hurricanes by nine wickets on Friday.

Trinidad, meanwhile, got the better of West Indies Under-19s by five wickets courtesy of the returning pair of fast bowler Ravi Rampaul, and off-spinner Sunil Narine.

"We are playing Trinidad in Trinidad, and there is always a challenge as their fans will give them that bit of extra push," said Miller.

"But we are ready, and believe in ourselves, and intend to give it our all."

Jamaica, who with a victory could all but secure a place in the semi-finals, are expected to field an unchanged line-up.

PRINCIPAL BATTING DUTIES

This is expected to leave principal batting duties on the shoulders of Tamar Lambert, Danza Hyatt, Bonner, and Bernard Jr, and in the bowling department, Miller, Bernard Jr and the in-form Jacobs.

The same is also expected from Trinidad with Rampaul and Narine leading their bowling, and Darren Bravo and young opener Evin Lewis their batting.
