ATHLETICS: Kim Collins posts world leading in Russia
Former world outdoor champion Kim Collins won the men's 60 metres in a world-leading time of 6.48 seconds at the Russian Winter indoor meet.
American Mike Rodgers, who served a nine-month doping ban in 2011, finished second in 6.56 seconds.
Yunier Perez of Cuba was third in 6.86 seconds.
The evergreen Collins, who turns 39 in April, clocked 6.52 seconds to win the men’s 60 metres at the Dusseldorf meet in Germany last Thursday.
