Hy-Lite tennis ends today

Keen competition is expected today at the Eric Bell Tennis Centre, Piccadilly Avenue, when the Hy-Lite Best of the Best High School Tennis Tournament which started on Wednesday ends today. Play starts at 9:00 this morning and the closing ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Some of Jamaica's leading schools are participating in the tournament and tournament director, David Sanguinetti, told The Sunday Gleaner yesterday that he was very pleased with the level of competition. In the Division One boys, Wolmer's have been outstanding and in Division One girls, Montego Bay High School have been the standouts.

This morning, Campion College will play Ocho Rios High in the Boys Division One competition and Mount Alvernia High will play Campion College. Play is on a round robin format, with three

singles and two doubles matches. Play is to six games with a seven-point tiebreaker.
