Jamaica’s footballers will be seeking their second consecutive victory in the FIFA CONCACAF Under-17 Championships, when they take on neighbours Cuba on Thursday in Honduras.

The junior Reggae Boyz registered their first victory of the tournament yesterday, with a hard fought 2-1 win over Guatemala.

Striker Nathaniel Adomolekin gave the Jamaicans the lead in the 13th minute.

However, the Guatemalans equalised through John Mendez in the 26th minute.

Substitute Donavan Dawkins scored the winning goal for the Jamaicans in the 90th minute.

The Andrew Edwards-coached Jamaicans are now on three points from two matches.

They were beaten 2-0 by host Honduras in their opening game on Friday.
