Former champions Harbour View defeated Sporting Central Academy 2-0 in a rescheduled Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) encounter at the Harbour View mini stadium last night.

The stars of the east were led to their victory courtesy of Ronique Muir’s strike in the 18th minute and John Ross Edwards’ 78th minute goal.

The victory has moved Harbour View to 40 points, while Sporting Central remain in 10th place on 27 points.

Harbour View are in eighth place in the standings.

After a string of poor results they were recording their second straight victory under new coach Ludlow Bernard.

Bernard who is a former Wolmers Coach took over the job from Andrew ‘Bowa’ Hinds following the team’s humiliating 7-2 defeat to Waterhouse three weeks ago.
